You in this thread aren't, but there are 'movements' by women and feminists that try to tell men what's attractive... like this push for fat acceptance and celebration of it. Sloth and gluttony aren't attractive to men. It's pretty insulting to men actually.

How would you feel if men started a movement for women to be attracted to men with beer bellies, asymmetrical faces... or god forbid, bald heads?

There's plenty of bullshit about dad bods and confidence being the sexiest thing, which is likely targeted at helping men feel better about themselves.

We need more honesty all around.

Hellouser, I find big women sexy as well. Its not forced on me - if anything we are told fat is gross - but I still like them.

I also like slim women :)

Yeah, women should just flat out say bluntly; we like men with chiseled jaws, broad shoulders, nice abs and a symmetrical face.

A perfect hairline doesn't have to be mentioned, it's obviously a given that women don't like baldness lol.

Sure, but don't force your opinion on ALL others. You don't get to chose who men are to be attracted to. The same goes for women being attracted to men that dont fall into the social norm of 'handsome man'.

I really hope those surgeries work out for you, David. Reading about your dating miseries and your reflections about time running out almost made me cry.

6'4" must be an exaggeration tho. That's taller than the ideal, honestly. IIRC you're 5'11" which is well above the cutoff point. Your main problem looks-wise I would say are your weight (which you're now close to fixing) and your facial features, which those surgeries hopefully will take care of.

Haven't met you in person so I can't speak to your strengths/weaknesses in this area, but you said you had mild autism so there's also the issue of getting the girl to not feel uncomfortable if you get to the point where you spark some attraction.

Thank you.

I had some setbacks because my employer told me my health insurance would not start until my second month. I think this was an administrative error. I can go get health care now, I just got an email today. Of course I don't have a health card or anything.

6'4 is an exaggeration. I think tall starts at about 6'1, maybe 1.85 meters in practice. Basically, 1 or 2 cm more than 6 feet. Below that, a girl may feel like she's compromising. However, google says I just "grew" by ~1 cm, since American men are shorter than Australian men.

I've lost nearly 60 lbs now. I only have 10 more pounds to go (I think, I hope) but I'm tired of losing weight. I'm in a new city and I should be exploring, but instead I might be fasting this weekend, and bingeing netflix in order to kill time. I hear Stranger Things is nice. I might rewatch Sense8.

I'm mildly autistic. I'm apparently "very direct" in real life, which shows up as being "very honest and open" on the boards. It's also because of my mixed Moroccan/Tunisian background. Mediterranean cultures place less emphasis on subtlety than anglo-saxon culture, which is really enthusiastic about psychological obscurantism. In popular culture, we thus get the stereotype of Italians being "loud".

I'm very similar in person at work, with family and friends; blunt. With strangers or in public, I know I need to be 'reserved' because north americans dont like it.

Saying that is just an arms-length away from "if you don't like person X, you're gay." I guess she is considered universally attractive but she doesn't flip any switches for me. You really need to feel that spark from the first moment you see a person to be fully attracted to them. But, guess what, I don't think Emma Watson is hot either. Sue me.

I'd much prefer a look like Rachel Dashae, speaking strictly about faces here:

David, what country do you live in?

Also, I've never felt small at 5'11. I'd even go as far as to say its the perfect height.

Sorry to be a buzzkill on the forum.

Lol well I'm fucked then

I've honestly feel like height can be compensated for if your other physical qualities are above and beyond

I've seen guys in the 5'5-5'7 range do well, well above average, and the standards on the rest of the package are quite high. You need to be smart, efficient, athletic, and have hair, which you are as far as I know. You are one of the most rigorous guys on the forum and that's admirable.

A few of my best female friends are with men who are around 5'6. All three have hair but one or two of them are receding.

How have you done with women?

I like being 5'11. It helps us to be agile and we are not cumbersome or lanky. Also, women want a guy to be a few inches taller so unless they are over 5'9 (which isn't that common) then you're height will never be a disqualifier.

5'11 is a very good height to be/

Just a note, "long legs" doesn't necessarily mean tall, that's a misconception a lot of women have. Not necessarily you (I don't know) but a lot of women think that tall = nice legs.

It also means how much of your height is due to your legs.

A 5'6 woman can have great legs.

It's also why your hip bones are probably "taller" than those of most 5'6 men.

My legs are normal length for my height I guess. They look pretty long when I wear high waisted stuff.

Adriana Lima is 5'10 I believe and said in an interview she doesn't date men below 6'7 lol.
