Wasn't Royaume or That Guy the specialist?
FDG9, minoxidil and several things. You have to go through the thread buddy, don't know them one by one. Noisette posted some of the patents too.

I ain't no specialist,

but it's kinda hard to keep it all straight since they apparently tested a number of compounds through the years. I think it wound up settling on minoxidil and some FGF9 thing that Noisette had shared.

But not necessarily confirmed, since this is all info gleaned from various patents. It does appear that there will be at least 2 different compounds, though.

I never posted about Tsuji before, but, have to ask this:

why is everybody so sure about a 2020 release, if that is the date the clinial trials will start? Won't it last at least a couple years (until 2022), then results, then market, etc etc..

I can see 2030 at best case scenario for this to be available...

Let's wait.

As we did for the "March, then Summer, then November, then December release of the Brotzu potion".

Now, tell me I am wrong: The Tsuji trials are set to START in 2020. How come they will RELEASE it by 2020?

Arguments? None..

They’re actually not set to start in 2020. They’re set to start in March 2019 which has been verified by multiple sources in this thread.

Not completely clear if it is the fiscal year in Japan or not, but trials should start end of 2018 or beginning of 2019. Doesn't matter it's the only real thing that comes close to a cure.

Your question has already been answered, but the reason why progress is being made so fast is probably because they managed to clone and produce high density transplants on mice using human hair follicles without any interspecific transplant rejection. That, coupled with Japan's liberal laws regarding stem cell research, means they can hit the market faster without the annoying roadblocks you'd usually encounter in the States, like the FDA for instance.

So it's just a confirmation that everything they have achieved so far is really working in humans too. Seems like they are pretty confident.

Which is the difference between hair follicle stem cells and human derived cells?

If they use cells from human hair follicle arent they already use "human derived" cell??

A phase I/II and a phase III.
Conditional market release will happen after phase I/II.

So he is doing, or planning to do, Phase 1 in 2019, right?

Well, i don’t know what the speculation on this forum is, but I feel that these trials will be shorter, because of the nature of the treatment. Maybe in 6-12 months a trial can be completed. Of course, starting a trial and getting clearances will take time, but still, it should be faster than other treatments.

I know this is just speculation, and I know it’s sad that this is all we have. But come on, it is one of the very few reasons left to live for many of us.

The phase I/II trial will last at least a year.
Conditional market release is to happen in late 2020.
