I would implore you to do the same thing. I have an extensive education, and I have had a 3.6 GPA or above in my university History and world History classes. If I may, I would also recommend that you would do additional reading into the currect events that you are speculating about.

The entire US government (including the FBI) was after Bin laden because he claimed resposibility for the 9/11 attacks, and because the hijackers were members of his terrorist organization, he is also on tape talking about flying planes into the buildings, what part of that don't you understand? The orginal FBI Wanted poster was made before 9/11 anyway.

What the US government or anybody else believes about who did it is irrelevant- guilt is determined by evidence not by gut feeling. IF such evidence of Bin Laden's involvement in 9/11 existed then charges would have been filed and the FBI 'most wanted' poster would have included these charges, which it didn't. He was wanted in connection to the bombings in Africa.

You must not be reading about the current situation, we have a hell of a lot, including data on planned attacks, one of which was to take place on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 which also displayed that Osama was still playing a vital operational role.

There is nothing to debate here. The FBI made a statement about lacking the evidence to charge him with the crime, hence charges were not laid and didn't appear under his most wanted poster. That is the end of the matter. If you believe differently then maybe you'd better ring the FBI and tell them that you know the details of their investigations better than they do.

How do you know he is unarmed until after he is dead? He could have had a bomb strapped to his chest. Imagine if he killed himself and 3 or 4 American soldiers. That would have been the greatest possible ending for him ever. US solders come to kill him and and he kills them and martyrs himself.

Easy for us to criticise from our homes, but if I was a solder I would have shot him in the head armed or not.

Disagree 100%. Like Cassin said, the Libya intervention was pushed forward by UK and France.

Do you really expect us to sit around and watch innocent civilians in Libya get raped, killed, bombed, etc. by their own government? No way.
