man it's so depressing going back 5, 10, even 15 years and seeing people posting the exact same stuff "HM will be with us in 5 years, you are silly not for believing in it" and people planning their lives around HM ("right now i am living in a hat, but i am waiting for HM then i will go out and get a job and go meet chicks" i wonder what those people are doing now :(

Japan is also perfecting Histogen's gene technique.

It's only a matter of time before Japan LEADS in the war against androgen alopecia hairloss industry.

Do you know at what stage repiciel and histogen at? Because when i google the stuff, it takes me to 2012 & 2011.
If thats the case then its been a long time from where we begin. Oh i’ll tell you all about it when i’ll see(lost hair) you again. LOL!

Of course they will, snake oil generated millions for years why a cell-based therapy wouldn't ?
They've opened up a new facility in regards to the devolpment of rch-01 and have partnered with University of Tokyo for devolpment. They are taking advantage of the Japanese governments change to approval of medicine were they can now fast track it to release. The cosmetic industry is continually growing and the demand for cosmetic procedures is growing exponentially especially in China where they have the rights for rch-01. Cell based cosmetic therapies are still in its infancy so what you're seeing is one of the largest cosmetic companies in the world trying to be the first ones to corner the market and then expand on it. You're an idiot if you boil it down to just being another snake oil scheme.

You're an idiot if that's what you understood from what i said. My reply was meant to say that a company's hope/expectation doesn't mean sh*t about whether there will be a ROI or not. Have you ever seen a company investing in some technology with the intention of it failing from the begining ? Plus Making profit from Rch-01 doesn't necessarly mean that you'll be cured ;) rogain makes 400m $ a year in sales and their treatment won't save any balding man. i'm not saying that'll be the case the shiseido but there's a high chance its effectivness will be comparable with minoxidil on steroids this time. only conditional release will dictate how things will go

Craplicel and Shitseido will probably be too late to the party, that's what.

Japan is improving Histogen's formula, and are far further than they ever got (they've been doing it
since 2011). They published it in the indiatimes.com.

I feel that way about lot's of treatments, in fact, I don't even live anywhere CLOSE to JAPAN.

They will probably become the world's leader in hair loss for men.

Don't believe me? Ask my friend @yetti. He'll tell you what's going on down there.

Wait when did Japan get their hands on histogen formula? Wasn't it only tsuji and shiseido from Japan?

I really DO have faith in Japan.

There is also RECENT progress, with Histogen therapy there.

They have, just recently (indiantimes), EXCELLED the hair growth cells, by multiple times. IN other
words, they can manufacture MUCH more than Histogen ever did in the U.S.

Not only that, Replicel will of course revolutionize the hair industry, with UNLIMITED hair donor (cloning), which
will occur.

Tsuji and 2020 are getting so close, it's making the vellus hair on top of my head stand up. Anyone know if they will release any progress updates this year?

2020 is a bit too optimistic, don't you think?
Some well-read member here wrote that Tsuji had made a comment saying he hoped that his 'cure' would see clinical application within 10 years (by 2026).
Of course, the commercialisation may or may not follow his "hopes". And it is understandable for KyoCera/Riken or whatever it is to expedite the process, but 2020 is just too optimistic IMO.

That was in 2012, not 2016.
Even "well-read" members are fallible.
