For respectable reasons: Age, uncertainty of pattern. I tried convincing saying that meds have regrowth and stabilized me, but got a no. I'll try again in a year.

Bro last time I saw your pics you looked borderline NW1 to me. You sure that didn't have anything to do with them turning you down?

Still just trying to find the right doctor. I’m a 1.5 - 2 but I want to stay looking young with having hair.

Still searching for a doctor.

How old are you?

I know a lot of surgeons avoid under 25s due to ethical concerns.

I'm 24. It's understandable obviously. The two just told me to contact them in a year again. So, who knows, maybe then I'll have more improvement and won't need a transplant until years to come.

Well, in non-harsh natural lighting it looks good. Though in harsh lighting the thinning is most evident still on the crown. So, yea probably. And that also I haven't even been on minoxidil and finasteride for 2 years yet. It's just the perfectionist in me along with hair greed.

Hey I get it man. Even though I've improved to a NW2, with some on here calling me NW1.5(although I think this may be generous), I still want improvement too. Still hoping for further improvement from meds, although I think I may be at or near my plateau, but I'm still hoping and looking for ways to improve my regimen. I do have the idea of a possible transplant stored in my mind, but with my fine hair texture and the density a transplant can give, I worry having a small procedure to fill in my temple angles might leave my hairline looking like garbage. Despite all this, the reality is that if I can maintain what I have now, I will be okay.

im afraid of the sexual side effects of finasteride (we do hair transplants to get laid right?), and i also had some chest pain on minoxidil now before and that was scary.

You're just being like your username, a "big baby". Get on finasteride and forget those side effects. If they occur, get off it. They don't persist.

If someone can guarantee that i will stay nw5,i will go for one or two hair transplant procedures and be done. But family history is a big bullshit,no one in family is beyond nw5,but i think i will end on nw6-7.
