The truth is I've done an incredible amount of research into religion as a whole. I've read both the Bible and the Quran in their entirety. Despite my anti-religious stance, when I get into these types of conversations I typically have a more informed opinion of those religions than the followers of said religions themselves

You may have read Quran but from what you write it is clear to me that your understanding of Islam is not accurate. If you had, you will not have made the following statement.

"In that sense Islam is just a tool being used to propagate hate, but it is not Islam telling people to blow themselves up, fly planes into buildings, or drive a large vehicle through a crowded area. There is no section of the Quran that tells them to do these things."

Had you read Hadiths and Sira (other Islamic scriptures), you would have known that Mohammad actually did kill innocents. As Muslims consider him perfect model of humanity and try to emulate him, they don't hesitate to kill innocents.

You said,

"I do agree that Islam is a dangerous ideology, but just to reiterate this is not the fault of Islam specifically but of the nature of (most) religions as being divisive/a tool men use to manipulate other men into doing their bidding. In that sense Islam is just a tool being used to propagate hate,"

Islam is not merely a tool. It is a source of genuine hatred. The hatred for non-Muslims and calls for violence has it's roots in Islamic scriptures so yes, it IS the fault of Islam. Lets not exonerate Islam and call it merely a tool.

There is no section of the Quran that tells them to do these things. It is the extremist interpretation that has led to that, but in any case this is still a very small minority committing these acts. There are 1.6+ billion muslims in the world. If it was as common as Western media portrays it for muslims to be extremists, no area of the world would be safe at any time.

Islamic scriptures are replete with calls to violence. Also, the violence in Muslim world is very common, especially wherever they live with a significant non Muslim population. In India, Muslims are fighting Hindus, in Myanmar, they are fighting Buddhists, in Nigeria, they are clashing with Christians. Islam is simply incompatible with another ideology. In countries like Pakistan, where non-Muslim population is negligible, Muslims are fighting among themselves. Shias and Ahmadia Muslims are regularly murdered and their mosques are often bombed by Sunni groups in Pakistan.

Also, I think it is important to think about how you might feel if the shoe were on the other foot. The Islamic ideology has been under attack by the Western world for decades. In that time, millions of muslims have been killed - a large portion of which were innocent civilians. A simple comparison of the numbers killed on each side paints a pretty horrific picture for the West. From their perspective it probably seems like we are the terrorists, and I think if the media gave an unbiased look at the situation it would be easy to see why they feel that way.

You are absolutely wrong here and I hate this narrative that is very popular in the west, especially among liberals/leftists . Radical Muslims have been committing violence even BEFORE countries like United States came into existence. Anyone who has studied the history of Islam knows that Muslim invaders went to countries like India over a thousand years ago, destroyed and looted Hindu temples, raped their women and forcibly converted people to Islam. Also, even in countries like Bangladesh, many Muslims hate the West. Why do you think that is? West never attacked Bangladesh or harmed the country in any way. Western influence MAY have caused SOME Muslims to radicalized in SOME countries. But to claim that ALL the radicalization in the Muslim world is because of western influence is simply false because of two obvious reasons:

(1) Islamic radicals existed even before countries like the US came into existence
(2) Islamic radicalism exists in places untouched by western countries

We only see the side that demonizes Islam from our media because we live in an area of the world which is predominately Christian.

This is simply not true. On the contrary, I will argue that the mainstream media is not doing enough to expose Islam and Muslim world. If you go to countries like India, that are predominantly Hindu, with few exceptions, media acts the same way vis a vis Islam as the western media. They are scared of offending Muslims.

In the UK literally everyone over 50 is fat or obese. It's repulsive. I don't know what the answer to this problem is.

Saurubhaj's english has improved hugely, anyone else notice this?

I remember a common myth here that Obesity is an act of laziness, one can become easily fit with Excercise.

Above girl is an Olympic Athlete, imagine how hard she must be training, still she is overweight.

I clearly stated that those foolish stupid weighloss transformations don't put light on their family history, and there is huge chance that this weight loss subjets are obesed because of over eating, thus they succeded in losing weight,
while majority will never able to lose weight no matter how hard they try.

Obesity is largely a lifestyle choice, with the caveat that a lot of doctors apparently give bad advice.
It's not just about exercise. Diet is more important than exercise, I've never heard anybody say otherwise.

As for this woman, she is not obese:

Moreover even if she was fat, I've never heard anybody recommend gymnastics to lose weight. People recommend high-intensity cardio exercises such as sprinting intervals, or weight lifting, to lose fat, I've never heard anybody recommend gymnastics. It's a different sport.

Here's a talk by Dr. Alan Goldhammer, he has supervised thousands of patients who have lost weight, 1 lbs a day using fasting. His patients keep the weight off when they stop fasting.
As for myself, I have a lot of fat relatives, and I've now lost 25 Kg in ~18 months. That is because I did research on medical science and listened to better doctors and scientists such as Gary Taubes, Alan Goldhammer, and Jason Fung.

Saurabhaj is a doctor? Do they hand doctor degrees on the street in India? :p
Just kidding mate.

I don't make weight loss too complicated. Just digital scale + MyFitnessPal. My problem is how not to use food as a coping tool for dealing with my shitty life due to hair loss. Whenever I feel crappy about it I go for that temporary fix and eat some nasty sh*t. I want to lose those last 5-8 lbs but it's just so hard getting there as the psychological pressure is huge. If I didn't have hair loss and was happy about my looks I'd be super motivated and probably shredded by now. It's a horrible cycle.

People with extreme weight problems looking for a strategy that works are encouraged to read Dr. Jason Fung's medical blog:
https://intensivedietarymanagement.com
It advocates low carb, high fat, and intermittent fasting.

Hundreds of people in the comment report lower body weights, lower cholesterol, lower insulin and glucose levels.

Bald shaming is wrong, fat shaming is wrong. If it's not affecting you personally then mind your own f*cking business.

First try to control you own life,
You can't handle this hairloss, and going to challenge my education..

Never ever challenge/comment on another person education, career, way of living, looks, wealth, poverty. This is an act of cheap low class people.

This women is an athlete,
She requires high calorie diet to stay fit.
About 2500/2700 calories.
She must be requiring to burn calories still she didn't lose weight.
Because losing weight is not possible to all.
Only few will lose weight.

About weigh loss,
I have a brother cousin who is overweight(slightly).
Is handsome,6 feet but have moderate built.
He did whatever he can do,everything,
He was under Dietician also,
Still he failed to lose weight.

Do you know there are few girls(slim) that will never gain weight no matter how much they eat.
They have faster metabolic rate, that will never make such girls gain weight.
There is one brand Endura body mass in India for girls to gain weight.

Now debunk this myth.

Why slim girls exist on earth.
( look i am not talking about ramp girls).

Tell me the reason.

So if you are walking by a pool, and see a kid drowning, mind your own business because it's not affecting you personally?
I agree that you shouldn't do it just to be mean, but if someone is 100 pounds overweight and thinks they deserve to have their body called beautiful, they probably deserve any shaming they get.

That's obviously a ridiculous comparison. Nobody in the world deserves to be shamed for the way they look. Nobody. People who do body shame others deserve a good beating but that last bit is just my opinion.

I'm sorry, but when you make posts like the one below where you claim certain people can literally defy laws of physics, it doesn't bode well for your education.
