Depression also affects the brain in a bad way. I don't want to live the rest of my life depressed, disfigured by baldness. I am ready for a lot for the sake of hair, it is unlikely that something will stop me. It is possible that at the end of this year you will see a post from me in which I say that I am already taking estrogen.

He's not trying to transition. He does that just for hair loss. Its just crazy to let even as well your brain "feminize", let alone your bone structure etc., because he is still in his late teens, god. Guys should stop promoting estrogens before full development, if transitioning isn't the goal.

Depending on dosage, virtually every MtF experiences a great lessening of any and all compulsive behavior. Sex is something you like, not something you are compelled to do five times daily. It's a relief for many.
I feel so hopeless that I am afraid that even estrogen will not help. I see people who have not been helped even by 100-150mg of Bicalutamide. Bicalutamide's only success is Ein, but he had great temples, he bald non-aggressively
And people like Ikarus used oral minoxidil

Nobody's doing that except for young MtF's. For MtF's it is critical to start in the teens if possible. I am always frank about all effects, sexual and otherwise. To me, it's an incredible improvement but for younger guys, probably they should wait as long as they can and then bank sperm. I post my pics often and I think my male side is decent looking now but in terms of before and after, there's no comparison. I am far more attractive as a female.
I know this goes against what people think but with MtF's in certain ways, size is critical for passing. Guys under say 5' 8" whose head or features haven't grown much, tend to be far more successful at both passing and being more attractive. KCMB was a decent looking guy but now on a whole different level. I have mirrors at home and I wouldn't have done this if I looked worse. Do some MtF's look worse after transition? That's subjective and touchy for our cohort but I won't deny that some have incongruous features.

I can't remember if we have chatted before about this, but I see you often. Can you say your age, when balding started and how much you have left? Estrogen to me is about having options to stop hair loss and it might be that people could cycle on and off. Using low amounts of estradiol, say .5gm to 2gm might still reset the axis over time and it's likely to be breast enhancing. So I have tried to come up with a "breast-less" protocol but it is impossible because the hair improvements tend to come later than the breast growth, at least initially.

Hair thinning began at the age of 16. Now I'm 18 and my temples are receding, my sides are thinning - I have aggressive baldness over a large area, only the back of my head is not subject to miniaturization, but the worst of all is the temples and sides
Before jumping on estrogen, I will ask the surgeon to remove my breast completely. This will cause chest craters, but it's better than a woman's chest.

People often find that they look far younger. I had my beard removed at 55. Just doing that takes at least ten years off most MtF's. The hormones are also youth enhancing. If you go to some of the transition sites, it's as though doing this late is the best because you look so much younger. I am 56 and when I started I looked my age as a male at least. This is a very nice feature of HRT that MtF's know about but not many others. The skin changes have a lot to do with it too. Because a person's eyes open up, that is youth-enhancing as well. I struggle to find a single downside of being MtF but maybe there is some strength diminution, especially when AA's are used. spironolactone made me weak as a kitten and I bounced right back when I dumped it and increased estradiol instead.

I am so sorry. At least I made it to 2nd year of college. Some of these boys are 13, 14 years old. Any of us MtF's or others can try to help you. If you bank sperm, that frees you somewhat if you want to produce children. I felt at 20 even that I wasn't done yet with my hair. I was barely past being a virgin.
I appreciate your help. I seem to have decided on my future regimen in case the current one does not help: 50mg Bica + 1mg finasteride + 2mg Estradiol. But I don't quite understand how to properly take estradiol pills. Or it might be better to take a gel. I see reports of some people failing to increase estradiol when taken orally. This is harder than I thought. And more expensive
Ikarus said that he takes 2 mg at once in the evening, does not divide the reception into 1 + 1 in the morning and in the evening

You know, for basic feminization, dosing practice doesn't really matter, in terms of morning or night. Half-life tends not to matter but there are a couple of steady state forms of estrogen, namely injections and the patch, which I use. KCMB uses injections and has great hair but I prefer not to inject. The patch is even more steady state than injections. If, and it's a big if, half lives matter to results, then the patch and injections might work better. Generally though, half-lives matter more for psychological effects than feminization. SL utilizes three to four dosing periods with very short half-lives but they don't feminize any more or better than others although they "think" it grows bigger breasts. For MtF's everything is about the boobs, like here, all is about hair. Many MtF's wear wigs anyway because our hairlines have to be perfect to pass since women's hairlines only thin but never erode.
As far as I know, the patch is inconvenient. It would be convenient to just swallow a pill. But that doesn't seem to work well. Then it is better to dissolve it before bed.

The patch can be if you wear two like me and it is also pricey. Estrogen in its different forms lacks a "better" ingestion method. It comes down to cost, convenience and interest in steady-state dosing. I used it formerly on my now voluptuous rear but that was a hassle. Now I place in the kidney area and it seems better.

Yikes. I call the Power's people "pill-suckers" when I want to irk them. I would not want to suck on pills all day but it is cheaper and much. It also changes the meds half-life greatly although that rarely matters if ever for basic feminization externally. For your age, well for any age, Gergely, your knowledge is impressive to me.
Then it is much more convenient to dissolve the pill under the tongue when I go to bed. It's as simple as candy lol
