Okay guys so to ask something on topic; Is there any dates regarding statements or trails or anything like that for Brotzu? Do we have anything to look forward to?

The only official statement is that Fidia will provide some information after the summer holidays which for Italy has apparently just finished. As for what they are releasing no one knows, it could be the commercialization dates, efficacy rates, orgasmic before and after photos of the ongoing trials, or that it simply doesn't work for Androgenetic Alopecia :( and we are forever f*****.

Just curious, have you ever taken finasteride?
Yes, I stopped after a month due to side effects. I shouldn't have taken it in the first place and I'm relieved I'm among the fortunate to not have withdrawal symptoms.

And the inconvenience of having to keep RU in the freezer.
You don't.

Logged in to say you are a moron
Sufficient people have had devastating, permanent side effects from finasteride for it to be a concern. For example here:
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1743-6109.2012.02846.x/abstract
We also have numerous testimonials on this forum.

Part of the reason we should be excited for this treatment is that, as a different drug, it should have a different side effect profile. In terms of effectiveness it is unlikely to be more effective than finasteride+minoxidil.

How do you know that or what leads you to guess that? They were doing some study on humans to see if it worked or not right. So that is going to be done in the next couple months or are they releasing it early before it has evidence it works at all?

LITTLE UPDATE ABOUT DR. BROTZU

So Dr.Brotzu gonna make a presentation in november at the 'italian society for hair science' 'sitri' among hair specialist doctors.

the title of his presentation is :
Pathophysiology of the microcirculation of the hair bulb. alopecia treatment with cationic liposomes carrying DGLA and equol.

the title is not accurate because i used google translator, you can check the link here for more information : http://eventi.sitri.it/programma-del-domenica/

the italian forums are talking about his presentation lately.

Love it. A tangible date for an update on our little potion - hopefully this can quell some of the anxiety within this forum :)

Also, the fact Brotzu is giving a presentation on the lotion around a time that Fidia's results are expected to be published is nice. It's a promising indication that it has potential as a therapy!

He used word "alopecia" instead of specifying the type of it. So maybe it is because it really works for both AA and Androgenetic Alopecia.

Sounds so promising! I´m eager to try the fake lotion!

If the lotion works I would like to organiza a crowfunding so we can build a statue for Mr. Brotzu hahaha do you remember the Simpsons´ episode in which the mayor brings a Jimmy Carter´s statue and then he changed it adding Marge´s hair?

Sorry for the anechdote, but it was hilarious!

It will be a presentation on AA, he sold the patent for the use on Androgenetic Alopecia so it would not make sense for him to speak about it. That doesn't mean it's nothing to be excited about, it's his second time speaking at one of these conferences. This gives him credibility speaking at these types of events.

You should keep everything in the freezer to have it all at a stable temp. Im pretty sure the heat of the summer could be brutal for lotions.

Also why not just buy the prepared K&B solution from Kane?

Anyway, the problem I see with RU is that I've read some people saying using it long term (or anything that impacts DHT directly, unlike finasteride which attacks 5ar) could be a mistake and eventually your hair would fall even more due the receptors becoming too sensible to DHT.

Im going to be using it for 2 days a week to combine with the finasteride (I don't take the pill, it's a topical foam).

Anyway I think im fucked. I don't see the RU working to be honest. Im sure my scalp will keep itching and my hair will keel falling. I may even try the god damn tranny pill and kill my beloved systemic DHT which keeps me low bodyfat as I approach age 30 and barely do any exercise. This sucks. I have to choose between killing the most potent male hormone on my body to *hope* my hair doesn't fall as fast and scalp doesn't itch or keeping the DHT high, my muscle density and low bodyfat looking great, but becoming a balding subhuman.

As far as this or any other experimental thing being developed, im sure in 5 years we'll still have the same sh*t.

This lotion has been hyped to hell, but I hope it ends up working decently. Having a decent option to just keep some hair without having to jump through the hoops of seeing doctors and begging them alone would make it worth it. Hopefully its not that expensive, but that is probably asking too much seeing as how every male pattern baldness treatment is way way over priced because of the desperation of people that like to waste money.
minoxidil and finasteride are reasonably priced but only after what 25 years and getting generics? Thats partly why I never took propecia I didnt have 60+ a month to spend on hair on top of real life bills

Hey admin, have you attempted to make contact with fidia?

These other companies seem eager to talk and that makes it seem like they are confident in their product (or they are just pumping up their stock).

The total silence from fidia worries me a little.

The sh*t still costs 85 euros a month in some parts of Europe if you buy legit Propecia 1 mg. I never would have taken it had I not been able to get a 5 Mg Proscar prescription from my Doctor! That boils it down to peanuts.
