I'm not surprised you've never heard of a world renown vascular surgeon. I guarantee that you can't name ANY vascular surgeons off the top of your head. You should understand why YOU having not heard of him isn't a good meter with which to judge his reputation and prestige. You seem so certain that these ingredients have no bearing on androgenic alopecia, which makes me wonder if you know the slightest thing about this disease. Minoxidil, which has been a staple in the big three for decades, works as a vasilodator that can stimulate hair to grow. PGE1/Carnitine works in a similar but more targeted manner. The only question is that of whether minoxidil's effectiveness is due to it's manipulation of potassium channels or it's vasilodative power. These ingredients are not the medical equivalent of cream of mushroom soup. You saying that is just a misrepresentation of my stance in this thread. And you acting like age and experience has made you wise and discerning is not only a joke, it's a false appeal to authority. If age and experience has made you so wise, then why do you keep displaying such ignorance when it comes to the science of hair loss. If anything, your lack of knowledge on the subject, given your age, should make you feel pretty pathetic. It seems you're the naive one in this situation. Naive enough to mistake your ignorance for a useful and educated opinion.

This is assuming I'm uneducated on the "world of finance". You act like this is some divine wisdom. This might mean something if I was investing in penny stocks. Here's a tip for you bud. Invest in blue chip stocks or maybe just to stick mutual funds, assuming you even have the disposable income.

Ownage.

I guess you've never heard of Enron. Blue chip companies go down all the time. I've made a lot of money shorting them, because idiots like you pump prices up far beyond any reasonable valuation, because you'll believe anything someone in a position of authority tells you. All I'm saying is you're naive to take people at their word because someone you don't know says they are reputable. We will see what happens when this is released. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I will be proven right just like I was with Follicept.

Your last response tells me I was wrong about you. You're not just young and naive, you're downright stupid.

Pegasus doesn't have a clue. "never argue with stupid people they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"

A lot of people in this thread calling me stupid. It reminds me of the Follicept thread that was on BTT I think. A bunch of wide-eyed dreamers calling the one or two rational thinkers idiots because they dared to say that the chances of it being a better treatment are not good. This one will turn out no different. If you want something with promise check out Replicel or Tsuji, or even JAK inhibitors.

His father was also a Nobel Prize nominee:

I
mean, of course everything is possible, but would a respected Doctor in his 80's from a famous family of great reputation file a patent for snake oil? And why would Fidia buy it?

If someone comes out with a scam they usually sell the product themselves and not conduct years of research and file a patent that get's bought by a big pharma company.

It's not an outright scam. The product will likely work to a degree. It won't work as well as finasteride and minoxidil though. The only scam part is boasting that it will cure five years of hairloss. That's a ridiculous claim, and he knows it.

You realize you're wrong so you start spewing petty insults rather than discussing the treatment. The treatment not working doesn't prove you right. No one in this thread has claimed definitively that this treatment will work, that was extrapolation on your part. Me, and everyone calling you out, have simply stated that IF this works like it is claimed, it will not just be a replacement for finasteride and minoxodil. It will greatly improve on it. You came in this thread and started yapping about how it's not gonna be better than current treatments. YOU decided to speak with authority on a matter that you're woefully ignorant of. And to your point on finances, I never disclosed my portfolio or what specific stocks I invest in. So your entire post was essentially you lashing out and throwing a hissy fit because we damaged your pride. All that talk about you shorting stock is just you trying to compensate. You came in here acting like you had an inkling of knowledge about hair loss, when, in fact, you did not. You know what's worse than an idiot? An idiot who thinks he's smart. I'd say you belong to the latter group.

Wonderful. We're done here. I don't have time to argue with a child who can't even keep his own argument straight. I should've known better than to even engage you in conversation with your username. Anyone who believes in prayer is obviously delusional, and not all that bright.

Care to inform me how I can't keep my argument straight? You keep attempting to discredit me on the basis of age, even when you continuously demonstrate that age doesn't equate to knowledge. I won't even dignify your last remark with a response. You need to be banned by a moderator.

You have nothing to lose being a skeptic on these forums. If you're right, and the product is ****, you can say "Told ya so!". If you're wrong, and the product is great, you have hair. Pegasus, you haven't presented a single caveat from a scientific perspective. Pray, on the other hand, has had posts where he cites studies to support what is in this lotion. I don't know how you're drawing this to investing. But since you keep on bringing up investing, you should know rule number 1 of investing: Past performance is an indicator of future success.

Lol past performance is not* an indicator of future success. The edit function isn't working for me.

What can I add that hasn't already been said in 50+ pages? I'm not that interested in this treatment, so I'm certainly not about to read 50 pages just to see what points have been made and what points still need to be made. I posted my opinion that it wasn't something I'm pinning my hopes on, and that kid started attacking me. He should've just accepted that I have a different opinion and left it at that. Instead he set out to pick a fight with me because I think other treatments are more important than the one he has pinned all his hopes on.

Show me where I picked a fight with you. I simply pointed out that your opinion was uninformed. It seems that you are extremely sensitive to criticism. Are you not used to people calling you out for spreading misinformation?

Has anyone managed to contact Brotzu / Fida with regard to any evidence of the efficacy of the treatment? Interesting to read that it has been tested on over 100 patients with Androgenetic Alopecia with no photographic evidence?

http://www.google.com/patents/WO2015170247A1?cl=en&hair loss=it

.......
.......

Evaluation was carried out at pre-determined time points by dermoscopy and direct observation with photographic detections.

I emailed Fidia, This is their response.

Dear Mr Martinez

Fidia just began a clinical trial, with a defined protocol, focusing on a specific formulation suitable for industrial scaling-up.

Regretfully, we are not able to figure out in advance the formulation’s effectiveness and tolerability, that shall be demonstrated during the trial, with statistical significance and clinical relevance.
The trial panel has already been defined and we cannot further improve the number of patients included.

Neither exact launch plans nor time-to-market priorities have been defined for the product yet.

We will keep you abreast of the company’s future steps in this concern.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions on the subject.

Cordially yours.

Hey since you are already in contact with them, maybe you can ask how long their trial is and how many they must do before commercialization. I feel like this may be something they can answer.

I think we're at the point where we can stop spamming Brotzu.

If Michael Bisping can knock out Luke Rockhold in Round 1 to become the middleweight champion, anything is possible. I have faith that this lotion will do something useful for regrowth.

I have contacted fidia. I have contacted them before and they gave me the standart answers. But it seems that they gave me a different answer yesterday. Here is the mail:
Q : Hello. I would like to know if there is any update with the Brotzu Lotion. Thank you
A : Dear Mr *******

The clinical trial just started and as anticipated it will take some time to Fidia to get the results and define the exact launch plans.

Although we know that you are eager to have a solution for you problem as soon as possible, we kindly ask you to be patient and wait for our future update.

Best regards

Im sure they have a team for this where their job is to respond. Most companies in this day and age have adapted and have twitter accounts to make statements regarding commonly asked questions, Idk why they dont do this.

Generally that doesn't include R&D. IR would be more apt to have such information, and more willing to answer questions about it.

I think its great that their reply changed! It means they are having to respond differently because they feel the pressure of people wanting this now. They need to know there is a demand for this product. Hell keep emailing every week.
