...well.. you know.. I follow this thread and don't want to be buzzkiller but people were dermaroling before. it was big 2-3 years ago i remember..

Yeah , i think you only contribution to this forum has been conspiracy theories and perpetual negativity....what people are talking about here is a specific and different methodology than simply "derma rolling".... i think you need to spread your brain vomit somewhere else....

Here is my update: been on derma rolling for what 15 weeks?? Anyways, I tried different ways of doing it. So far the best method for me is every 3 days , I use glycolic acid 30% for 10 minutes with derma roller 1.5mm 192 needles. I am recovering from a massive shed and my hair looks stupid awesome right now compare from a year ago. Really thick, also my hairline is recovering which is just awesome.. feels like you real self is back! I will post pictures tomorrow, my head is sore from the stabbing/ acid bath lol last night. male pattern baldness is a product of a local inflammatory process. Excess collagen, fibrosis induced by DKK-1 from DHT. PGD2 over expressed. L'Oreal was right. Collagen strangle the follicles which stop the progenitor cells migration to the bulbs which impaired hair cycle. Anyways going to the gym..

Love that song..

Yes, it seems some people do experience a shedding phase. Mine was minor and lasted around a month.
I started to shed just under a week ago... Haven't shed for about a year, and I know when it's happening. Seems relatively mild for a shed though.

Do you guys wash your hair the day after derma rolling? If so, what shampoo do you use that won't disrupt the inflammation? I'm currently using Revivogen shampoo a day or so after derma rolling.

I use a plant stem cells shampoo. Works great. I just put it on and rinse right away.

So Squeegee, what do you do with the initial idea here of extending the 7 day cycle of the Indian study to 14 or at least 10 days?

btw, where is princessrambo?

No doubts anymore derma rolling with the 1.5 is regrowing my hair. Hairline isnt getting much lower but my inner hairline density is almost fully recovered. Just that I call a cure for me, as I was nw2 or more by 18 its all I ever knew. Thank you guys very much.

I was Norwood 2 with thinning hair on top. No vertex bald area. My temples are filling up, hair are growing, looking thicker everywhere like in my youth. I went through a traumatic shedding LOL but slowly recovering from it. Motivation is kicked in and by Summer, I predicts a full recovery of my hairloss. I am not over optimistic.. I've been in the game for a long time.. I like to read and post abstract but also go out and buy and try stuff on a long term contract. I use Kirkland Minoxidil right now. I also use Glycolic acid 30% strength and derma roller 1.5mm 192 needles every 3 days or so.. sometimes 4. but at least twice a week. I use it at the same time. I apply Glycolic acid first then use the derma roller really fast.. I don't **** around. Just roll the whole head..yes the whole head.. and bleed and get it over with.. wait 10 minutes then rinse the blood and the glycolic acid. I use GA to get a full coverage of my scalp to fight excess collagen and fibrosis. My head always feel revitalized after. I apply minoxidil the same day late at night and every other days twice a day. At night before bed I apply it with Miconazole Nitrate 4% before bed on the second and third day. I support hair growth with internal supplements. I use systematic enzymes Serrapeptase on empty stomach in the morning. This supplement is so strong , it helps reducing scars.. I also use Organic MSM.. , Diameaceous Earth.. contains 90% silica, L-Lysine+ vitamin C to support new collagen. Yes, it is possible to regrowth hair without Finasteride. Just common senses and a bit of pain and consistency. A lot of people on here over thinking everything and just complaining on every levels.. All you need is time, patience and faith in it. Androgen Alopecia is a product of chronic local inflammation. Derma Roller helps shedding the excess collagen and fibrosis which helps the hair cycle to go back in business with normal progenitor cells migration to the hair bulbs. I am stocked!

Which shampoo might that be? Isn't rolling with 1.5 mm every three days way too much? I mean, does you skin have time enough to heal?

thx for the info squeege, one last question that maybe may be also interesting for others, how do you apply the GA? I mean how do you spread it on the scalp, with a dropper like minoxidil or a brush?

Awesome squee :) and for the rest that are already getting results from this.

So, you are not going crazy with the roll anymore, squee? No more bloddy head? That's because you are now rolling every 3 days or so, right? But isnt bleeding like a pig a must for this "trick" to work?

I'm still rolling once a week, and applying minoxidil every other day. Still hurts like hell though :S so far i can't seem to see significant changes, but i think in the long term this might really help. The theory behind it seems solid enough. Along with some other theories that were already mentioned here.

so could it be better to roll every 4-5 days instead of 2 weeks?

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23190891

in this study inflammatory stopped ad about post wound day 5 ,also pgf and pge2 synthesis decreased rapidly while pgd2 started to get back on...

EDIT : Does anyone uses Taurin topically or oral?Since it acts anti fibrotic?

Finally finished reading this entire thread. Educational stuff.

So what's the thinking on anti-androgens with DRing? As we're now inducing inflamation where does this leave us with inhibiting DHT?
