So What's Wrong With Being Confident Again?

Well if you feel that way, fair enough

Honest question though, which of these guys would you be more drawn to? Pretend they are equally as good looking:

1. Ripped dude, great body, tells you extensively about his exercise routines and the hours he put in at the gym to achieve his physique

2. Ripped dude, great body, never brings up anything fitness related in conversation. When asked about how he's so fit, kind of brushes off the complements, "I work out a little bit"

I'm interested in knowing all sorts of things and getting to know more about my date. If he's passionate about gyming, I'd like to hear more about it from him. If he doesn't want to talk about it and thinks gyming is boring he only does it to look good I won't ask about it. I don't see how this will affect my attraction towards someone.

Wearing hair pieces is a sign of weakness and not being viral. As I mentioned women want to be the ones who take time to pamper themselves up. Its a turn off to reverse the roles and take time out of your day just to look remotely attractive.

Women want men that can get dirty, sweaty, and bruised up but still fit the part in the relationship. Someone who can work a 12 hour day, kick his work boots off after a long day and still look the same the moment he wakes up till the moment he goes to sleep.

Hair pieces are not a viable option. I almost wanted to kill myself after enduring such effort to appear beautiful. I would rather have thin hair, and live my life. I laugh about this whole hair piece discussion. Fools who have never worn encouraging others like it's simple as throwing a rug on and walking out the door. Your piece will define you, ot will determine everything you do, and be your identity. Everything you do revolves around the piece. Prepare to become a very private person.

Stupidest decision I ever made. I had so much anxiety it was unreal. The sun decimated my hair piece in less the a week with maybe one hour of exposed light per day. Get ready to ve a hat prisoner all over again! Time to avoid the sun

Not familiar with Kinobody.

I've gotten good results in the past from working out just 3 days a week. It's all about efficiency if you go that route.

Greg O'Gallagher (kinobody) is one of the most popular fitness sources on youtube.

He advocates reverse-pyramid training, spending 45 minutes at the gym 3 times a week, ~120 grams of protein a day, and intermittent fasting where the first meal of the day is pushed as late as possible, as in lunch or even dinner.

He does not advocate supplements and doesn't even drink protein shakes, steroids, conventional cardio, low-fat diets, low-carb diets, perpetually avoiding sugar, chocolate, or alcohol.

So somewhat non-standard.

I find it encouraging that his underlying bone structure is only a little bit above average. He's not someone who started with a massive genetic head start.

Most of you are taking what I said earlier out of context. Working out is not parallel towards what I consider big effortlessly beautiful.

Taking care of yourself through exercise is a healthy habit, atttactive. I am talking more along the lines of men who seek surgery, injections and hair pieces to fit the part.

I personally never talk about fitness and the gym. I let my body do the talking. Almost any activity that involves fitness someone typically always mentions and asks if I am an athlete, which I prefer. When you're ripped with considerable muscularity a lot of peoplr ask what sports you do. Most people mention my size to me. I typically tell them I play sports and exercise and leave it at that. But for the record I lift every day, no days off.

Greg Is a fraud. What he forgets to mention is what peds he takes. Anyone who makes money on his body typically takes steroids. A few naturals such as Scott Herman is what a natural can expect

Are you a workout fiend yourself? These are the women who seem most receptive to their men living in the gym

I don't know anything about that dude, but the size of his muscle mass in that picture doesn't automatically peg him as ped dependent. He's just got a very low body fat %

Needs to try a different ped if he is using

I don't understand what you are referring to.

I have Androgenetic Alopecia. If pills don't work, hair piece is last resort. And according to you, hair pieces will define my life and stop me from doing things I love.

Don't be naive. Just because someone doesn't have considerable size doesn't mean they are natural. Its in the look...

No. I am genetically blessed I guess. And I'm lazy as but I do do sports at least once a week. I just find going to the gym boring. I find men who are sporty and spend a lot of time doing sports very attractive. not sure if the whole men should be effortlessly beautiful an American thing

The only guys I know who look down on men who wake up at 7am to go to the gym before work is my chubby ex and his unattractive best mate.

but there's no effortless six pack or a great hair style. There's also no effortless "finding a well fitted suit and looking good in it". If most women you came across or dated think these things should be effortless, you should blame the loud-mouth dudes before you who said these things are just so effortless! I was actually quite turned on when my ex went shopping for a whole day to find some nice suits and leather shoes lol.
I blame both loud-mouthed dudes and delusional women.

With "lift to failure," would one go heavy with lower reps, lighter with higher reps, or a combination of both?
I'm not sure, I'm not even sure it's properly researched.

What I was doing was same weight for three sets, thus decreasing reps. So the reps might be 12-7-4, as I would get tired.

I don't know what the best strategy is and I don't know that anybody knows.

You might just be different from a lot of women.

Separately, did you see the rom-com "Me Before You"? It's got an interesting scene where the lead is on a date with her fitness-crazed boyfriend. He brags that the dinner he cooked for her is a 300-calorie salad, which kills the buzz of their date. It's played for laughs.

Separately throughout the movie he is obsessed with fitness and his dream. He is dumped for the charming guy in a wheelchair, who is effortlessly wonderful.

Not a lot of evidence for that.

He doesn't look "absurd", and he doesn't have some of the common steroid symptoms like disproportionate bodyparts.

It's not a spoken thing that "men should be effortlessly beautiful." It's an undercurrent. It's something that myself, and probably others here have come to understand as a reality based on years of observation and interaction with women.

You say you find men who do "sports" and are "sporty" attractive. What about men who lift, work on their physiques, etc? It's typically more of a vanity related interest rather than just enjoyment of the activity. This is why I believe it can be a possible turn off to women if you, "go to the gym" too much.

There are a lot of differing theories floating around out there.

Typically 8-12 reps is preached as ideal for building mass. When lifting to put on size, I try to keep the majority of sets in this range, although I'll go lower reps for at least a few sets in order to increase the weight I can hit 8-12 reps at.

Lawll, you don't need to be absurd in six to be on pecs. Its a certain look.

I know so many skinny morons on gear who you would never expect to be on gear. They look ripped with a bit of muscle. Its sad but some admit. I would be embarrassed to even tell anyone. My as well claim natural

A lot of times I also wonder myself, when a man and a woman of equal attractiveness are compared, both without makeup or any pampering, if the woman's attractiveness will instantly drop just because society dictates that women should at least wear "no-makeup" make up to be beautiful. Men can still be attractive with dark under eye circles, excessive facial hair, skin pigmentation etc but it's impossible for a woman. I guess this is just a different angle to look at how men should be effortlessly good looking.

I think it will be too much only if your only hobby is going to the gym.

No but I've seen the trailer.
I'm sure he's effortlessly wonderful, except he has a whole makeup team to back him up.

And he has good genes. The actor got his first big role as a "pretty boy". He played Finnick in the Hunger Games moves.

Excessive facial hair is on style now.
