It's curious. I never cared about my looks or girls either. I didn't understand why my mates bothered so much about practicing sports or asking girls out. I didn't really care about any of that. I never even asked a girl out, nor ever thought about doing it. All I cared about was studying, reading and practicing my hobbies. Then people started to make fun of me because of my appearance and my hair loss. Before that, I never gave a f***, I never bothered anyone and I didn't understand why they coudln't live by the "live and let live rule". I started to become sensitive about my appearance only because of the way people treated me. Now I'm literally obsessed with hair loss and can't even look at myself in the mirror.
yep i was the same way. funny how slybaldguys say baldness makes you care less about looks xD.
So you lost your hair in three years?

That is very aggressive.
yea i was 21 i'd say when fully bald, and i started losing a few months after turning 17.

I think it goes two ways - you get the fighters, like on this forum, who wish to battle hair loss and make themselves look their best. And then you have those who accept it and try and move on.

for a lot of guys you take the meds (its not fighting lol, rubbing minoxidil on your head isnt boxing) but they arent strong enough. thats what happened with me.

no one here is like slybaldguys

You're literally fighting hair loss and your genetic nature if you use treatments.

Some fight cancer
Some fight AIDS
Some fight hair loss

I know a guy through work who got a tattoo that says "Fight Diabetes", seems a bit dramatic.

As for other diseases like cancer, sure you can have your opinion on whether it's "fighting" back or not, but from my own experience there's definitely a huge difference between those who do everything they can to keep their spirits and energy up, and those who do not, with varying outcomes..

I guess even with popping a pill and rubbing foam on my head, it's more the exhausting emotions you go through as it constantly plagues your mind. Probably like most, I have been tempted to just shave it brah, and be depressed but at least know where I stand, it's hard to know what would be easier.

But no I guess I haven't thought of myself as a "fighter" before, on the other hand I'm not just doing nothing about it, like most balding guys do. It may not feel like that because we post on this forum, but most do f*** all, and are probably as depressed as us but afraid to face up to it. That's something, I guess.

If you know what RU58851 is you are already dead.
If you correct who writes 58851 and point out it's 10 digits in excess, you are speaking from the other side.

Have you ever considered just giving up on this being good looking and dating malarkey because I'm not sure its ever going to happen for you?

Perhaps you could focus more of your efforts on your career, hobbies, and social life.

I know its a tough pill to swallow and I feel quite bad for suggesting it - but sometimes it feels like you are the 5'7 140lb guy who really, really wants to get into the college football team, and yet it just isn't physically possible because of certain limitations. Perhaps I am out of line, and I know you are popular on this forum so I may get hate, but I think you are wasting your time.

Regarding your joining the team analogy...... in life you have no choice but to want to achieve happiness. We are biologically hard-wired to it. Sex, money, people.... all these are important to us in different degrees. If you are unable to join the team, you can still do many other things. But if you can't be happy..... it's over

Look at the OP. David said RU58851, I copy pasted it. My memory is collapsing due the crippling depression from balding so I just copy paste strings of numbers.

Have you noticed that people who have been good looking since birth tend to assume everyone has had the same experiences as them?

Like there's an assumed age range as to when you were supposed to have had your first kiss, first girlfriend, or lost your virginity, and if it comes out that someone in the room didn't experience one of these things in that age range, people are like: "REALLY?!!!!" Like they can't wrap their heads around someone's different experience in this regard

As someone who "grew into" his looks a bit after high school, I've lied about my ages for some of these details at times in order to not look like a weirdo and draw attention to myself

So much so that when I was a virgin at 20 I thought I was a unusual case, a weirdo. Lads pretend they do better than they do. I was always honest about my sh*t success with girls. It wasn't until I started trying that I realized there was many, many guys in similar position or worse than me. I realized that a lot of my friends had maybe one or two lucky drunken nights and were far off getting laid weekly.

I found out one of the guys I hang around with, who used to slag me for being a virgin, was one himself. He had made up some bullshit story.

This. Just this. And when they're not mocking you, they give you unrequested, stupid "advice" based solely on their experiences (and therefore only on their good looks and the consequent halo effect) that makes you feel just as bad, miserable and inadequate.

lol

you life would change for the better by a million miles if you ever decided to follow peoples advice on here but for some moronic reason you choose not. saying its all bs and that youll be a ugly incel forever.

we all know your face isnt that bad with your little hat story, so f*** knows why you dont bother doing some stuff to improve your situation. pretty sure your workmates wouldnt give you any sh*t if you were built, wore decent clothes, got a tan etc etc. not everyone out there is a 9/10 full head. not everyone gets bullied because there not great looking ffs. you get sh*t because of all the other things.

all this self pity stuff you do from now on is what really IS pathetic. your just wasting your time and your life

Every time there are new statistics showing a growing number of virgins they phrase it "young people today are choosing to have less sex".

People are either in denial, misinformed, or just don't want to confront the reality of the situation.

And god forbid someone complains about it. You have people like @sunchyme1 telling you it's all your fault and you deserve it.

Sunchyme, told you before to let Dante be. He will evolve eventually. Give him time and space to do that. As he gets older, some of his perspectives will change.

Not good looking in high school = very high chance of long term fucked up social development

I myself have come to a point where I am able to function socially, sometimes to a very high degree, but I still go through lots of fluctuations.

It's so bad that sometimes I'm the life of the party, and other times I just feel insecure and inadequate as f*** around other people

I don't think I'll ever feel 100% adaquete socially....maybe 80% on a really good day, but with doubts in the back of my mind the whole while

sorry but his sh*t gets old man

same stuff on repeat every day

he mocks guys like baldhurts for wasting his time and youth being on here, yet he does the exact same. difference is bh actually had issues. dante doesnt. he knows exactly what is wrong with him but refuses to do anything about it. THATS whats hilarious.

If you don't like what he has to say, then skip his posts. I like his sarcasm so I read all his posts. Remember you love Dante, so let him be/go.
