This forum is strange with ratings, I posted a very plain skinny girl and said this is the type of 5/10 girl I go for. Everyone chimed in to say that she was at least a 6 and that its very hard for a skinny girl not to be a 6.

Now y'all are throwing around 4..5..6 for this beautiful girl? I'd def give her a 7.

meh, people's ratings vary too wildly for it to be considered a science, especially if someone is between grotesque/ugly and stunning/beautiful, which is most people. To me that girl is a 6 (maybe 7) because she has a very cute smile and nice body, and i'm not even into blondes. I've been out of the dating scene for so many years i don't even know how i rate so take that with a grain of salt given a person's rating can affect how they rate others (i think the law of relativity plays in here somewhere)...

If she is a 6 or 7 head to toe, I think I would have to go back and adjust all my ratings LOL>
I always considered a 6 'attractive' but meh and a 5 very 'plain jane/joe' and a 4 unattractive/ugly and a 1-3 getting into deformed territory.

Hmm, theres no consistent scale to base a rating on, that only adds to confusion. To me, 1-2 is deformed/grotesque, 3-4, is ugly, 5 is average/plain, 6-7 is somewhat attractive, 8-10 is extremely attractive. By the way, i think that the reason for most arguments around the scale is when you try to rate 8-10 - but when you try to dissect so finely, since these ratings are subjective it becomes an impossible mission. It is true different strokes. I agree.

BUT we are also on a forum that promotes strongly the idea that men are easier in rating women's looks than women are in rating men who they deem attractive.

so if a man considers himself a 6 then consider that woman a '4' where most people would rate him a 5 or 6 and most would rate her a 7-8...that can be a self-delusion in his mind that may carry over to his dating experience and expectations. So he may be rejected by women he thinks are in his 'scale' range when they are not in reality. And to be fair vice versa. I don't think it's a gender issue I think it's a disconnect I am not sure where it came from.

that is how i try to rate objectively as if 'casting agent' so to speak..what would 'masses' think or rate her by an agreed upon realistic view point.

I don't think she has the most technically beautiful face or features for modeling but the total package? She is not a 6.

I've seen before and after picture collages. Makeup for me almost never makes a difference (ok maybe a 0.5-1 point difference) in how hot a girl is (a smile does though).

take this girl with no makeup out in the bright sunlight pass her on street she is an 8 easy head to toe.

The bad photos of her it's her skin tone/coloring not her beauty/looks...they are over cast with a grays blue cool tone..its picking up the blue in her face over emphasizing it.

I think you guys need to study color theory and how it applies to photo images.

White blonde and jet black hair is the hardest hair colors to pull off.

Because for me it was never about relationship all about looks and when i was done i was done.

I was never into blonde women sexually..I was with a light skin black girl who was stunning and then white/european and latin brunettes.
