What kind of guns do you wish you owned?

And on the 5th day, God came down and said "May all law-abiding Americans be allowed to tote big guns". The masses then proceded to Walmart. Hahaha... I love America.

I was interested in a Glock 19, which is a 9mm hand gun that is small, accurate, and dependable. But now I think I'd rather get a Ruger 0.22 caliper. 0.22 caliper amo is way cheaper than 9mm. 0.22 guns are like half the price of 9mm guns. This means I could buy more amo and practice more to get the training I need to actually use one, without breaking the bank.

0.22 has very little recoil compared to higher caliper guns. This means you can pull that trigger 3 times without the tip flying up and having to re-aim. Yeah, the first round might not kill someone, but killing is not always what you want to do, and you can get more rounds off.

Easier on the ears too. And 0.22 caliper bullets are small and can fit more in the handle.

I want a gun that won't go through the walls of an appartment and kill a bistandard if I miss. If the gun size is cheaper, I can buy a better brand and stay under the price threshhold.

They say 0.22 is not strong enough. Well, our infantry uses it. Partially it is for price, and partially so two people leave the fight when their buddy has to take care of someone who is still alive. But it can't be that weak if our military uses it. I'm sure a 0.22 can protect you. And if you accidentally shoot yourself in the foot, I'd rather it be a 0.22.

CCS, I don't like the idea of you having guns.

Wow, CCS. Not to be rude but did you get your firearms information from Wikipedia? When you say our military uses .22, are you referring to the .223 cartridge? The diameter might be similar but that's about it... COMPLETELY different ballgame, homey.

Penetrating walls and whatnot? Where did you get the notion of reduced penetration with a .22? If anything, hollow-point pistol rounds would be less likely to penetrate a wall than a .22.

Fit more into the handle? Dude, you're not gonna find an ultra-capacity magazine without it extending below the grip. It's not difficult to find 15+ rounds of 9mm in a pistol magazine.... that's plenty.

You said:

"Yeah, the first round might not kill someone, but killing is not always what you want to do, and you can get more rounds off."

Not even gonna comment here but I will say that you might be better off with the wheelchair, your 15 inch biceps and your AIDS drugs because you have no business whatsoever owning a firearm.

Is that pistol a Sig? Looks like it but I can't tell. I've always liked Sigs.. never shot one, though.

Nice AR. I had to leave the store the other day or else I would have picked up a 16-inch, bull-barrelled AR... sh*t was nasty, dude!

I'm gonna have to figure out details but there's this little tactical optic system that seems pretty cool. It's about the size of the EOtech but it's a zero magnification, crosshair scope. Seems ideal for short to mid-range engagements.

Yeh its the Sig P226 40

I shot it for the first time last week pretty amazing piece of hardware.

Im looking into scopes for the AR...Im thinking I may go with the aimpoint

The Eotech is really nice my friend just put one on his sig 556 series rifle

My AR is a 16 inch barrel as well much better than the standard 20 in my opinion

Hell, even hollow point pistol rounds would easily penetrate multiple layers of drywall. This is where a shotgun gets my vote as the most ideal apartment gun. They say that bird shot has the least chance of flying through walls but also is apparently less lethal than buck shot. I know I wouldn't want to feel either one of them.

There's also something about a shotgun that can't really be mimicked with most pistols. There's something psychological about racking the pump that has probably made a burglar or two sh*t themselves.

Hey guy, I just read that germans were all armed, until Hitler disarmed them when he took power. Makes it even more scary that Obama wants to disarm us. I'm sure he is a puppet of some kind. I think the reason teleprompter mistakes are shown is so people will think he is too dumb to be a Hitler.
