Guys, understand that it's best to try out topical first. Hopefully with some luck it works, and it should be safer. If I go straight to oral, then I risk too much and we would still be left with the question of if topical would ever work.

I am probably going to give it aroun 4-6 months. Then if that doesn't work, I may consider going oral but with a lot of lab exams in the process.

As far as I know, I'm the first to try topical.

Well the pills are in mixo solution so naturally, yes. I have been on finasteride for years and it has helped me, so I am going to continue the 1mg a day, although sometimes I do skip it.
good that you ve been on it for years, any further improvements, if any, after 5-6 months can be safely attributed to this new drug that you are mixing. what Norwood are you? best of luck and thank you for your efforts.

Well it's not really a Norwood level since it's diffused all the way, including the sides and back, it's called DUPA. It has really progressed over the years, so I guess it's sort of an equivalent to NW4 maybe, I am not sure, so yeah, it's bad.
I took a shower this morning and the substance is still a bit in the scalp, I don't know if it went inside or it was just residual, because it was very yellow, but most of it washed off. I guess not all will go inside, just like everything.
Doing the calculations it seems I will have enough for 2 months, then I have to get more stuff.

Keep applying those applications if applicable. Real science.

It seems I got similar problem as you bro. Do you have tapering hair(thinner and less pigmented at the root, like the situation in alopecia areata)? Could you pls share some experience about like what treatments you've used that have shown results? really really appreciate that.

What I tried first that gave me the best results is dutasteride but I discontinued because is so harsh on the brain chemistry. I tried neogenic for 3-4 months and I am not sure if it was that or dutasteride to tell you the truth.

No my hair pretty dark and consistent but somewhat thin or skinny. Which I am sure is the finasteride.

I also want to report after the second application that I might be getting a side effect. I pain in the upper abdominal area.

I plan to lower the dose for two reasons. One, the pills have a lot of fillers and they don't dissolve well, so it gets stuck in the bottle. Anyone know how to fix that? Two, it just feel too heavy for 100mg/1ml.

how do you like that? Is that effective for this diffuse pattern from your experience?
Yes, it's good for diffuse.

At first...

I'm getting bad pain on my stomach and headaches. It's most likely going to the bloodstream. I am going to skip a day and lower the dosage.

What I did not take into account is that the pills taken orally are time released. And topically I get all the active ingridient at once. So need to maybe do much smaller dosage but twice a day or something else.

Do the pills dissolve completely in your vehicle? For example;

This is not dissolved:

Let's hope we see some promising results. It would be curious to have another experimenter bilaterally trialing it who is not currently( at least 6-12 months out) using any else but this. I am willing to do it, but I can not commit even remotely to the blood labs Python is responsibly and sensibly volunteering to have administered on a consistent basis.

It's hard to tell, since it's on a non transparent case of minoxidil and it's not clear but orange. But I have been feeling the effects so I would assume it's going in, at least some of it. And that exfoliation has made it go in deeper as well.

Well I would go to labs consistently but I don't have the money, really. So might do a test ever 3 months or so. And I put it on minoxidil because I had no way of getting Everclear.

Tofactinib has recently been approved for rheumatoid arthritis and is currently being tested for Chron's disease and UC. If this drug does indeed grow hair when taken orally we should know within a year. I am assuming patients with these diseases are also experiencing male pattern baldness. Time will tell.

Time will tell.

Will it really? Because so much time has elapsed already and we know nothing more than we did 30 years ago. Nothing definitive or conclusive at least.

I've tried looking for forums for people with arthritis, but I can't find ANYTHING.
