Will it really? Because so much time has elapsed already and we know nothing more than we did 30 years ago. Nothing definitive or conclusive at least.

We know a lot more than we did 30 years ago. A quick literature search on Google Scholar proves this.

Is there any other drugs that could have potential in stopping male pattern baldness? I volunteer to try somethin out if im able to get it without prescription. I read that asthma drugs have some potential. My mom has asthma so im able to get some of those.

Im using antihistamine 10mg a day at the moment. Not sure if its helping yet.

Asthma drugs are supposed to work for PGD2 inhibition, though which ones specifically are unknown because Dr. George Cotsarelis won't tell us. It's unknown if they'd have to be taken orally or topically either.... and if topically, not known what the vehicle should be.

I can tell for sure, cetirizine 10mg a day lowers histamin in scalp for at least 12 hours. But still- we have to deal with DHT. The more we suppress androgens in scalp, less PGD2 we need to inhibit.

No.

We should be inhibiting absolutely all of DHT and all of PGD2 from the scalp. But we're still screwed with high levels of DKK1 and low levels of PGE2. If Androgenetic Alopecia was simply one pathway, then we'd have cured it a long time ago. PGD2 on its own likely be the solution. You need to tackle it from many angles.

I don't think that can be done in practice. PGD2 plays important role in skin regeneration and follicle neogenesis. You can't absolutely wipe out neither one, but there must be some ratio how far we can go.

Yeah but we're not looking at skin regeneration or are we looking for brand new follicles being formed. We want to revive miniaturized ones.

Yeah, but would miniaturized follicles revive if you shut down PGD2 completely? I read somewhere that vasodilatation is one of the main biological activities of PGD2.

Should i up my cetrizine dose to 20mg a day?? 10mg in morning and another 10mg evening? I could try that when i start finasteride and experiment if it is a good combo. What do u guys think?

20? Not so sure about that. A lot of people reporting terrible withdrawal symptoms... You need to be careful with cet. I'm 2 weeks ON, then 5 days off. I take it before I go to bed.

So if I get this right, after 2 years there are still no proper pgd2 inhibitors. There is a cure for AA that can be a cure for Androgenetic Alopecia and no scientist or company bothers to try it out so others have to try it out for themselves? I have no words for this.

Are you now realizing the neglect for men's health?

Don't worry I realized that one year ago. This just makes me angry, how can we hope for a cure if no one takes this seriously -.-. I mean what do they want us to do before they realize that hair loss is a serious problem, do they want us to kill ourselves to prove a f***ing point? Now I think about it they would just mock at us calling us weak, idiots etc etc...

Positional Good theory, my friend.

It's more the fault of a certain doctor than anything else. Maybe Dr. Angela Christiano aka the hair goddess will tackle Androgenetic Alopecia as well, she seems to have quite some knowledge on Androgenetic Alopecia as seen here:
http://www.regrowth.com/hair-loss-articles/interviews/interview-with-dr-angela-christiano/

You have to giver her credit for taking on the hair loss solution on her own. She realized that next to nothing was being done to cure this fvcking disease and did it on her own. That's fvcking admirable.

So I emailed Dr. Brett King asking why he didn't bother to try this for Androgenetic Alopecia....

No answer.

Anyone else ever question why the fvck men with male pattern baldness aren't give a sh*t about? Does society really want us to be bald and STAY bald?

What the fvck?!!??!

I might have to stop my experimental treatment. Every single time I have applied the topical, the next 2 days I get stomach and liver pain!!! I already have liver problems to begin with and as much as I want my hair back, it's just not worth it. It's not like something small that I can overlook. I am talking about sharp pains that only go away after I have not applied the topical for a like 2 days. And even worse, I can feel like my liver is expanding during that time, I can feel it and it hurts when I touch the part just above the liver.

I have no clue what it can be, it might be the fillers that are in the pill? Or maybe it's just that when I dissolve it, since it's meant to be a time release in oral form, it may be too much at a time. In any case, I will try it one last time, if I see that I get the same reaction the next day as I have been after the application, then I am calling it quits. And no, I have not grown any hair back.

I salute your dead set determination for hair revival and your fighting bravado in the lonely front lines, but listen to your body before you go MIA. You're too valuable a team member. Fall back for now and reserve your strength. For rest assured there are many more battles ahead of us.
